ensure the inside of the square tube is clean and smooth.
Remove any burrs or swarf
use a silicone lubricant, such as CRC, inside the tube end before
assembly.
This will help the shank of the connector to slide into the
tube. The lubricant should dry over time.
do not use a steel hammer to drive in the connector because it will damage the Nylon outer.
If required, use ONLY a hard rubber mallet or soft Nylon / PU head hammer.
